Genshin Impact Codes: May 2025 and how to redeem them

In Genshin Impact, developers often offer little gifts in the form of redeemable codes. This is the fastest way of obtaining the most important resource in the game, primogems. The devs give out these codes in their periodical update livestreams, in which we also get lots of information about the upcoming content, such as future banners, new characters, events, etc.

Warning: The majority of codes are redeemable only for a short period of time. The livestream codes can be claimed only 48 hours after the livestream ends, so proceed with caution. You can find all the active codes for May below, along with what they offer and how to redeem them.

How to Redeem Genshin Impact Codes

Note that you need to be at least Adventure Rank 10 to be able to redeem codes. So, you can either redeem the codes in-game or in your browser from the Genshin Impact official website.

If you choose the website method, follow these steps:

Visit the official Hoyoverse web page
Log in to your account
Select your server
Write your character’s nickname
Type or paste your code of choice
Redeem, and you’re done!

If you choose to use the in-game method, however, follow these steps:

Launch the game
Enter the pause menu
Go to the “account” tab
Type or paste your code of choice
Tap the “exchange” button
Then go to the in-game mail box and claim the rewards!
